Car Park Customer Service Agent


The Car Park Customer Service Agent is to ensure safe access and service provisions for the general public and authorised users of the airport car parking facilities at Dublin Airport.
The Car Park Customer Service Agent will operate in all of the car parks, at all shuttle bus pick-up/drop off points and car parking buildings at Dublin. This position will report to the Car Park Team Lead.


Key responsibilities

• Represent Dublin Airport car parks as the first point of contact with customers using Dublin Airport car parks. Ensure all interactions with customer are to the standards as set by Dublin Airport car park management
• Meet and greet customers as they enter the car park, advising of the next available car park spaces and shuttle bus pick-up points to the terminals
• Assist customers in locating their vehicle in the car parks
• Provide assistance and directions to customers of car parks to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist members of the public generally by ensuring proper access to all car parks and assisting with any enquiry or problem
• Assist all customers in resolving any issues that may arise using resources and training received, escalating issues to the Car Parks Coordinator as required
• Responsible for ensuring that in the event of an electrical or mechanical fault to the car parking equipment the agreed procedures for the manual operation are followed so that an efficient service is restored as soon as possible
• In the event of a car park closure assist with the diversion of customers to the next available car park as determined by the Car Park Team Lead/Coordinator
• Responsible for monitoring the car park shuttle bus operation to ensure customer service standards are met at all times
• Collect and manage/collate car parking data as required, for example but not limited to car park spaces/entries/exits
• Investigate and compile car parking reports as requested
• 24hr Operation including night’s working on shift as an integral part of the Car Park Ops team.
• Responsibility for complying at all times whilst on duty with the Companies uniform dress code agreement in order to meet the customer services standards set
• Identify and communicate all product improvement opportunities/initiatives to Car Parks Team Lead
• Implement and test new car parking procedures as required by Car Parks Team Lead/Coordinator
• Monitor and test car park system components as required by Car Park Team Lead/Coordinator
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by the Car Park Team Lead/Coordinator


Skills, knowledge, and experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to make customer centric decisions
• Experience working in a customer service driven organisation is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Strong work ethic, good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
• Excellent standard of spoken English, a second language is desirable
• Good PC skills (intermediate level) an advantage
• Available to work shifts across 24/7 roster
• Commitment to daa values
• Possession of a full license is desirable

Pay Rate:  €11.96
