Landside Taxi Operative/Trolley Agent

Dublin 

The purpose of this role is to deliver trolley and taxi operations in an efficient and customer focused manner at Dublin Airport. This involves the safe gathering and movement of trolleys, customer and wayfinding assistance and stakeholder management.

This position also plays a key role in emergency response procedures in the event of a security alert, aircraft emergency or adverse weather.

Key responsibilities
• Ensure that Landside Services are delivered in a customer focused manner
• Present a neat and professional appearance at all times, in full compliance with local uniform and grooming standards
• Safely gather and move trolleys to ensure availability for passengers at key locations throughout the airport
• Ensure all Service Quality Measures (SQMs) associated with the Taxi and Trolley Operations are met or exceeded
• Assist customers with general and wayfinding queries
• Managing elements of the Taxi Management System via the Handheld device
• Complete vehicle, equipment and systems checks as required
• Conduct and record SQM timings on taxi passengers
• Conduct and record SQM audits on trolley availability
• Completing reports as required
• Conduct cleaning audits on Landside Facilities as required
• Carry out duties under the Snow & Ice plan as directed by the Landside Snow/Ice Co-Ordinator
• Respond in accordance with the Landside Services response as outlined under Airport Direction 27
• Ensure that all procedures in relation to security are adhered to and enforced at all times
• Ensure all customers, stakeholders and colleagues are treated in a respectful and professional manner at all times
• Monitor for, and report all, health and safety issues
• Ad hoc duties as required
• Supporting the Landside Services Supervisor, Landside Services Manager, Landside Facilities Manager and Landside Transportation Manager as required

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to make customer centric decisions
• Experience working in a customer service driven organisation is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Strong work ethic, good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
• Excellent standard of spoken English, a second language is desirable
• Good PC skills (intermediate level) an advantage
• Possession of a full license is desirable
• Available to work shifts across 24/7 roster
• Commitment to daa values

Pay Rate: €11.96

Location: Dublin
